I am emailing in regards to this Saturday the 16th’s peaceful prayer vigil which will take place outside Planned Parenthood (345 Whitney Avenue New Haven) from 8 am until 12 pm noon, the hours which the babies are scheduled to be killed by abortion.

For those of us who come out each Saturday it is no surprise to see how threatened Planned Parenthood has become by the prayerful presence of Almighty God. So much deception and lies spews forth from that building that in the face of Truth they have no choice but to feel exposed. Our very peaceful and prayerful presence has shown to be powerful, and it’s being manifested in the building. This is why it is so important for each of us to come out to pray and why we need each and every one of you. Fasting and prayer as Our Lord has told us in the bible is certainly the only way to drive out this Planned Parenthood demon. Those of us who sidewalk counseled this past Saturday were assigned a PP deathscort to try to encourage the women not to speak with us right on the sidewalk. As a car drove in an opened the window to freely receive literature these women would tell them to drive in and not to listen to us. We were literally are and arm with them in the driveway entrance. God is so very good to us who are trying so hard to serve him and our brothers and sisters in the womb. His ways are truly so far above ours, His patience and long suffering certainly foreign to our world. At first it seemed we were in trouble with this new stumbling block, but God permitted it because He knows and sees everything. It seemed the more the deathscorts tried to convince people to just drive in, the more people wanted to hear what we were trying to say. Like it almost peaked their interest in what PP was so desperately trying to hide. We knew it was our awesome God showing us that pearl again amongst the oyster.

This opportunity also gave these two young ladies who were PP deathscorts much time to hear why we were out there praying and how God would like them to join us. Joanne and I spoke with them at length speaking words of truth exposing the deception and lies that our culture has fed them. Because they are instructed by PP to not speak to us we seriously felt we had never spoken so much in our lives. We prayed the Holy Spirit would inspire our words and trusted that the Helpers praying the rosary would carry us through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother.


We are looking forward to sharing the sidewalk now with our new friends from PP who whether they know it or not are participating in the killing of these innocent lives and hurting women, men, and families everywhere. We are looking forward because we know our God has placed these women too into our care and we by the grace of God will strive faithfully to help bring them to a place of understanding where God’s grace can work. We know God wants their participation in this killing to stop, but also wants their hearts for Himself. Please pray for these three women and all who participate in the killing in New Haven. If there is anything we have learned it is that God’s ways are not ours but His ways are the best!

to Planned Parenthood’s website featuring an article written by a PP deathscort and her experience dealing with those who come out to pray. I found the authors experience to be drastically the opposite to what we as Christians are hoping to give as a witness in front of PP. It is often true that those of us defending life are often portrayed in an untruthful light; however we take joy in being able to offer these persecutions in consolation to our Lord who was so badly persecuted and lied about. We in New Haven know that speaking words of love to these individuals is the only way to help bring about conversion of what most of the time is already a hardened heart. This does not mean stifling the truth, but speaking it with love. Please join us this Saturday as we imitate Our Lord who became obedient for us unto death, even death on a Cross, and let us die to our selves so that we may love as our Lord did. As blessed Mother Teresa said so often to truly love we must love like Jesus did. He shows us authentic true love every time we look at the Crucifix. Jesus gave everything He had for us even His own life He gave and loved until it hurt. Let us in humility for this great gift thank Him by loving these babies and moms with all we have, loving until it hurts.
