Helpers of God's Precious Infants Vigil for April

J.M.J. +
Dear Fellow Helpers of God's Precious Infants,
For this month of April, the second Saturday monthly prayer vigil fell on Holy Saturday and we were unable to have our regular format beginning with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, exposition, adoration, procession and closing benediction. With great thanks to Fr. Sullivan of St. Joseph’s Church we will be having our large vigil rescheduled for this Saturday the 18th of April beginning at St. Joseph’s Church. Please read this entire posting as there will be some changes from our regular format.

The Monthly Prayer Vigil for April will be held this coming Saturday, April 18th, outside Planned Parenthood’s state Headquarters at 345 Whitney Ave in New Haven. The Prayer Vigil will begin with the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 7:30 am at Saint Joseph’s Church in New Haven on 129 Edwards Street. After Mass and exposition we will immediately begin the Rosary in front of the Blessed Sacrament and will then process on foot out of the church following the Image of Our lady of Guadalupe to Planned Parenthood where God’s precious infants are scheduled to be killed. We will be escorted by the New Haven Police who will block off the intersections so we can safely process in the street. Those who are unable to process with us but would like to take part in the vigil will stay behind to adore the Blessed Sacrament in union with our prayers at the abortuary. At approximately 10:00 am, while still in prayer, we will process back to Saint Joseph’s church for a closing Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament followed by light refreshments in the church hall.
Due to scheduling changes please reply to this email if you will be attending the vigil. If you know of anyone who might like to be an adorer while we are at PP please reply as well.
May God bless you,
Mike and Kerry

The Missionry Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe Comes to Planned Parenthood New Haven.

J.M.J.+

Dear Fellow Helpers,
Dan Lynch appeared on the EWTN television show, "The Abundant Life" with the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Johnette Benkovic in June of 2003. The show featured Our Lady of Guadalupe, her image and the signs, wonders and conversions through the Missionary Image that has visited over 1000 parishes! The Intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe along with the veneration of the Missionary Image has been responsible for the closing of 20 + abortuaries.

The Helpers of God’s Precious Infants have been blessed to be entrusted with the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe for the Easter Triduum. We were not scheduled to receive the Image at this time nor was it supposed to be available. However when I inquired about it, knowing the Image was scheduled to be in our state, I was told that due to unusual circumstances causing cancellation Our Lady’s Image had nowhere to go for the remainder of Holy week! The woman I was speaking with felt that our inquiry to bring the Image to Planned Parenthood was providential. I believe Our Lady interceded for us to receive such an honor to bring her maternal love to the place where it is needed most. I often think to myself when I am in prayer at Planned Parenthood New Haven how starved for love these young mothers are who are going into the abortuary and how much they are in need of their mother’s love. Many of them are even brought to this place of sorrow and death, accompanied by their own earthly mothers. Our Mother must want them to know that even when they appear motherless in our world that she is right there with them, Mother of all Mothers.

We will be keeping vigil with the Image on Good Friday April 10th as well as Holy Saturday the 11th, outside Planned Parenthood (345 Whitney Avenue New Haven) from 8am until 12 pm noon, the hours which the babies are scheduled to be killed by abortion. Please join us and take an hour of prayer, pray the Rosary, and to venerate the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Please visit the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe website to read more about the miraculous signs, wonders, and conversions attributed to the intercession of Our Lady through the Image! http://www.ourladyofguadalupe.org/misignswonders.htm “®© Dan Lynch
Wishing you and your families a blessed Holy Week and Easter,
Mike and Kerry

There Is Power In The Holy Cross

J.M.J +
Dear Fellow Helpers,
I am posting in regards to our next peaceful prayer vigil which will take place on Saturday, the 4th of April, outside Planned Parenthood (345 Whitney Avenue New Haven) from 8am until 12 pm noon, the hours which the babies are scheduled to be killed by abortion. Please join us and take an hour of prayer. Abortions also take place on Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings from 8-12 noon. If you feel compelled please bring a prayer partner and offer your prayers fasting, and penance then.

Many of the Helpers have voiced the desire to keep vigil at PP on Good Friday, the day of Our Lord’s Crucifixion, in a desire to be present with Him where His littlest ones are killed. We will be there on Good Friday April 10th from the hours of 8 am until 12 noon in peaceful prayer. Holy Week is a very powerful time as we witnessed last year as many mothers decided not to abort their babies on Good Friday and Holy Saturday. Please come to offer your prayers, fasting, and penance. There is great power in the Holy Cross. Below is a letter written by a woman who changed her mind on Good Friday last year. Thanks be to God and your prayers lives are being saved and changed one at a time.

God bless you,
Mike and Kerry

My Experience that day at Planned Parenthood

Driving into the parking lot of Planned Parenthood seeing people out their protesting to stop abortion, was surprising and the most surprising thing about my experience at Planned Parenthood was that they stopped me and spoke directly to me as if they knew exactly who it was that was getting an "ABORTION" procedure done when there were two of us in the car. From that moment on I met a lady named Kerry who had this beautiful smile on her face as she greeted me, explaining to me what "ABORTION" really is and how killing your own baby your creation, god’s gift to you was bad. She explained that in doing this 'ABORTION" procedure there was no turning back, and that there is help out there even if it may be hard to find. After exchanging numbers with her she called that same night asking me questions and teaching me some information I didn’t know about, information that these clinics who do the procedure fail to explain or tell anyone. Kerry has been there every time I called or email late night or early morning… she has been there. She had promised me that day she will never let me down and I honestly can say she didn’t, she kept her word of it all. After a couple of days passed I called Kerry and said I decided to keep my baby. Without the Helpers of God’s Precious Infants I wouldn’t have known the information my family needed and the places I could go for food, shelter, clothing and not feel embarrassed about going there or calling for something I may have needed throughout the months that have passed. Kerry started calling around for me for more information to help fulfill my needs making sure I was doing ok and I met with a variety of different organizations that were also linked to the Helpers organization, that were also great resources. I met Kerry about March of last year and it has been about a year since I have known her. Ever since then that promise she made was certain because she never failed to help me and because she currently still is…and for that I love her and all the Helpers who prayed for me and gave so I could be taken care of. I am thankful to them for making me open my eyes and other women’s eyes to keeping their baby. I thank you truly for that because it was more than help it was support, keeping close contact and just helping my family … and I’ll never forget about the Helpers and how they helped me that day.
